The DVSA sets the maximum MOT fee at £54.85 for a Class 4 car. We charge £40 as standard. If your vehicle fails we offer a free retest within 10 working days, provided the repair is done with us.
We do, on both standard R134a systems and the newer R1234yf gas used on cars from 2017 onwards. A regas takes around 45 minutes. We will also check for leaks before refilling rather than just topping up.
Our written quote is the price you pay, provided the job is what we quoted for. If we open up a wheel and find something else needs doing we will stop, send you a photo and a revised quote, and only continue with your approval.
Yes. Our technicians are trained on hybrid and EV systems. We work on regenerative braking, battery cooling, 12V auxiliary systems and high-voltage isolation. We do not do battery cell replacements but we can diagnose battery health and refer you on if needed.
Yes. We see this often on cars that mostly do short urban journeys. The fix is usually a forced regen on the DPF combined with a longer motorway run. We can also clean the EGR valve and replace the differential pressure sensor where needed. Quoted before work starts.
